WFTN Cocktails for Charity

Women in Forests & Timber Network (WFTN) Queensland is proud to announce our 2026 Charity Cocktail Fundraiser in support of Zephyr Education.

Zephyr Education Limited is a Queensland-founded charity established in 2013. Zephyr supports children whose lives have been disrupted by domestic and family violence by providing everything they need to return to school as quickly as possible. Often arriving at
shelters with only the clothes they are wearing, these children are supplied with essentials such as school uniforms, shoes, bags, laptops, stationery, and resources—helping them transition smoothly into their new schools with confidence and a sense of belonging.

As a volunteer-run organisation with minimal overheads, Zephyr Education ensures that almost every dollar raised goes directly toward supporting children in need. In the 2024/2025 financial year alone, the organisation provided over $1.1 million worth of support, making a meaningful impact on hundreds of young lives.

Women, men, friends and family are invited to join us on Saturday 12th September for an afternoon of drinks and canapes for charity in support of Zephyr Education to raise much needed funds for resources.

Tickets

$85 per person
Price includes a welcome drink, canapes and a raffle ticket to enter into the lucky door prize. 

Raffles and auctions will take place during the function to raise additional funds.
